Gel filled bras scare me.

Ester

the dress is beautiful!

ams

Unfortunately those bra extenders dont work well if you have any belly fat as they dig into it!!! I speak from experience!

Carly

Ohh I sooo need one of those bras, Im totally flat haha :(

Scheharazade

What avlovely dress !

Penny

oh my god! why did i not know that these things existed?! there have been so many backless or low back dresses that i haven't bought because i could never find a backless bra that i found comfortable!
thank you! x

nice_and_shiny

LOL! I can't beleive you mentioned the Saturdays, that's so cute! You would have fit right in in the "up" video, I have about 20 stills of that music video saved on my computer.... What can I say, I friggin love that song!
Anyhoo, that black dress is so cute. Since it didn't fit you at least it doubled as a present for your sis, how perfect!?
I've always wondered if there was a bra that could...erm, "de-exsentuate" the chest. My friend has worked at LaSenza for 3 years and she said she's never seen one. I know I should embrace what I have, but sometimes I just wish I was flat... some outfits just look a lot better on the less-chesty!

haha i'm all about the minimiser in theory... but in my experience they just squish it all flatter and wider which doesn't help much. i'm not sure those bra-lowerer things work for me either :(

Fashlynable

Thanks for the tips!
I always have problems with lower backs, and could also use the "oomph" provided by those largely padded bras. Haha but a plus to being flat chested is that waaay more sizes fit.

kirsty lee

ha you are the ultimate late night commentor! well your sister is a similar size to me, believe it or not, so will give it a whirl on your advice.

Aus Anna

how behind am i, never heard of "low back extender" ahhh
ive been reading your blog for a while now miss. would love to exchange links?X

Oh, I want one now... not that I have many things with a low back (yet!).

rachie

That dress is too cute! But I would not ever get away with the length! I seriously don't understand why shops are starting to make skirts/dress wayyy too short - like as soon as you go in your side bag your butt in full show..its ridiculous, its always good to do the bend over and touch your toes/knees trick before you buy! And bra trick - genius!!

juliAM

honestly, i know it's a no no in every do/don't list ever. but i totally love the showing bra (a la carrie bradshaw. when done right, of course.

The Clothes Horse

Hello awesomeness! That could save so much money.

Angela

I love that dress. I can see why you bought it anyway. And thanks for the tip about the bra extenders. I didn't even know those existed.

sarah

great post, ASOS do a backless and strapless bra! x

anthea

Thanks for this. I have a friend who is really struggling with looking for minimiser bras. She just can't find anything that fits her properly. I will be doing a bit of research on it soon. Any suggestions other than those last two?

Becca

that dress is so great - love it. I am also amazed by that trick to hide the bra band. genius.

Nil

I also got this dress from sale and the bra tip is really clever ;)

indigotangerine

now I can finally wear all of the low backed dresses of my dreams. I've finally come to accept my flat chest and pretend that I pull it off. A benifit of being boobless is that you can pull off lower cut shirts without looking slutty, as there is no cleavage liable of knocking somebody else.

cindy
