AA shirt, H&M (£3!) corset
I like to dip toes in lots of things but I think I can draw a very big line through 'treggings'- wearing leggings as trousers. Susie was looking super fine in these Chelsea Rebelle For Coco Career's Boutique shiny leggings with BOWS on the back (!!!) and so I had to geta pair in a post-pay-day haze of online ordering. They are the perfect thickness for wearing skirts in bitterly cold days and like Susie said, they arevery very tight! They fall down quite a bit on little old me but feel great to wear and stroke. But see I tried to wear them as just trousers, but I can't! I'm just too well aware that the whole outline of my bottom half is on show, way too much to handle! Despite wearing the shortest of skirts and shortie shorts, it doesn't feel right. The rear view on me might be a bit of a sore sight. I will persevere though and find some way of showing the whole of these beauts off. How do you wear leggings as trousers without feeling super self conscious? With a top that just skims your thighs? I'm guessing a few people might be set against the idea!
You can get actual things called treggings, they are a bit thicker than leggings and have pockets and a zip like jeans, but legging material they are amazing.

I have a pair of brown treggings. I haven't debuted them yet as i need the perfect longer length top to go with them but i totally understand the whole not wnating to have curvier ass on show.

This might be rather hard to find, but perhaps a tee that is longer in the back and covers your bum?

No I have huge issues with leggings without skirt, I should be able to pull it off according to many people as I'm small but I have huge problems with the crotch area, bum is fine, its the front and I'm not sure it looks good on anyone? It amazes me what the omission of a trouser zip does to that area? Maybe thats just one of my crazy hang ups?

When I see girls wearing leggings as trousers I just assume they're very confident with themselves and that makes it a good look for me!
My friends all disagree of course, but prffft.
I'd never wear leggings as pants myself (at least not until Im 100% confident of my bod) But yes, I like seeing girls wearing them, it makes me happy to see confident people! =] So do itttt!

I have the same problem...I feel to selfconsious that my butt cheeks are a thin piece of material away from being bare bottomed, my outline of undies and shape of butt is showing, and it must wobble and jiggle when i walk so no i do treggs! However I do alwys wear leggings with my faux-AA H&M spandex cotton sleeveless dress which skims past my bum and a little of my thighs so its perfect. and because it is so stretchy it does not ride like a long tee would...the best method I say! try it out! and if you see my piks you will know what i mean!!

I could never wear leggings as pants. Just like you said, despite wearing ridiculously short dresses and skirts, the idea of having my butt so visible just kills me!
But I do think they work great with a really long tee or sweater!

I'm against the whole tights/leggings instead of trousers thang. Granted some people look great, I would just rather not see their arse. Or worse...

I like them as trousers, but the top has to be long enough to cover quite a bit of my bum or I'll feel too exposed! And yes, people do ask if I've forgotten my real trousers when I attempt the tregging!

I think they look fabulous and like someone said below it's all about confidence...you look tiny and could definitely pull these off. I don't understand the difference between wearing skinny jeans and leggings as pants, infact, i feel leggings a little more forgiving than skinny jeans as they don't cause overhang or muffin tops.
You should just throw some heels on with them and go for it!
