I don't live with any Gossip Girl watchers so why not share the love! How good is it to have a Chuck fix again?? And now that he's all nice yet still up to his naughty dealings, it's all good!
But seriously, the rest of the characters are a bit confusing. For one thing, why has Blaire become a sex addict? And why does Dan have some kind of perm? I suppose it was high time that people actually realised Dan would be quite cool in real life, but Blair should never be the loser! The whole college things is a bit lost so far anyway, have they even gone to class yet?
Serena is her usual whiny self; why do they always refer to what a party girl she is, but in the programme she's always 'taking a break' or talking about when she did party. Show us some parties!!
Now that everyone's changed though, I wish they'd really find something to do with Nate. It feels like they don't know exactly what he's like, so throw him into these weird love stories. Isn't the Bree Buckley story line a few million years old? Shakespeare needs his stories back!! Nate always meets these girls/women and totally falls for them. Did he forget about Vanessa? She looks so unbelievably stunning this series! Would it hurt to have Lilly and Rufus' son to be a bit less boring? I don't even remember his name!
I quite like Georgina, even though she has taken Blair's place as the queen bitch. I think she plays her character so well, whereas Hilary Duff actually plays an actress but to me it's not buyable. I won't even mention Tyra's appearance because it was hilariously painful!!! What do you think??
Oh you're killing me! The two people I introduced to GG way back when are now miles ahead of me!! I'm only on 2x14, whereas they're bang up to date! It doesn't sound promising from what you've said though...
What do you think of Ed's casting as Heathcliff in the upcoming film??

Did you ever see John Tucker Must Die? Penn Badgley's hair was crazy long and curly in that movie. I didn't know he was Dan for a long time.

Blair, who is the main focus has no FOCUS. Let her join a sorority or something, otherwise she's just thinking about sex with Chuck and "ruling" 24/7/365.

@babyd0ll-you are so right!!I even forgot to mention Jenny (and Eric tbh) because they are getting so pointless. That's totally right about Vanessa, gossip girl have some crazy theory that everyone always likes everyone. I mean Nate and Serena and Blaire and Vanessa and Jenny? Almost the same with Chuck, I mean it's just not natural for everyone to be into everyone- is it OK for Vanessa to just have a boy as a friend? I think Vanessa would hve gone off and found some cool film loving friends by now as well!

I love it but its just repeating itself.. Chuck and Blair have some kinda tiff and get back together, same with lilly rufus, georgina is crazy crazy, serena is sad becuse no one 'gets' her.. And what has happened to Blair mother and step-father? They have totaly disapeared this season!

the first episode of s3 was just, urgh. What was up with everybodies hair? The Blair storyline makes me cringe, Nate has no real point, I just don't understand Georgina. I wish the Nate / Vanessa thing had played out more, I think there was one mention of it? And I'm confused about the latest episode. Serena has a job? I thought she was fired.
And shut up Lily, you annoy me. This series isn't looking promising.

Yup, I agree with mostly everything you said. And I do like to see Chuck in romantic moments with Blaire, but I don't think the good times will last long :-( I am most excited about Georgina and I'm glad that she is played by Michelle T (and not Mischa Barton who they originally wanted!). I am also liking the college fashion, but miss the headbands.

Yes, Blair totally needs to dominate again. It's hilarious how "cool" Dan is becoming. And I'm so with you on Nate...he is exceedingly boring and has no personality/storyline at all...but it was hilarious when he told Dan to "go for it" with Hilary Duff...that was a spark of personality!

I'm not so sure about this series. It is a bit weird and the dodgy Dan perm - why is he suddenly the cool guy? And as much as Blair was a mean girl, I've always had a soft spot for her (much like Summer from the OC, the original teen drama Blair).
I totally agree that Vanessa looks excellent this series - I'm glad they've finally found her a real, whole character instead of just a Dan appendage!
